North Country Honor Flight exists to keep President Truman's promise to our veterans, that America will never forget their sacrifices.
Since its founding in 2013, North Country Honor Flight has made 67 flights, bringing over 1000 veterans to see National Monuments in Washington D.C. and to receive the thanks of a grateful nation. Top priority continues to be given to the remaining World War II and Korean War veterans. However, with so few of them still with us, now is the time for Vietnam War veterans to apply and secure their place on a future Honor Flight. |

The North Country Honor Flight is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are fully tax-deductible. We are proud to serve as the official Regional Hub of the Honor Flight Network for the North Country of New York and Vermont.
Thanks to the dedication of our supporters and volunteers, we organize fundraisers throughout the year to provide free, safe transportation for our veterans to Washington, D.C. With the growing need to honor Vietnam War veterans, as well as those from earlier conflicts, every donation and idea helps ensure that these heroes experience the trip of a lifetime.
Each veteran travels with a compassionate guardian, responsible for their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Every flight group is accompanied by medical personnel, and wheelchairs and oxygen are available as needed. Honor Flight trips depart and return the same day, with all transportation provided to and from the local airport and within Washington, D.C.—making the trip safe, comfortable, and accessible for all veterans.
