"There's not many opportunities in life where you have a chance to be a part of changing someone's life. We are doing just that here at North Country Honor Flight." -- Barrie Finnegan, Executive Director, North Country Honor Flight
Spend an hour with the veterans departing or returning on an Honor Flight, and you'll share some of the pride, joy, and gratitude they feel. It's one of the most rewarding experiences most of us have ever had.

Would you like to be a part of making Honor Flights possible? A lot of work goes into preparing for each flight: contacting veterans and their families, arranging ground and air transportation, organizing the send-off and return ceremonies -- a great many details go into making each trip a safe and rewarding experience for our honored veterans. We're all volunteers, and we can always use more help!
We're always planning the next flight. There are four scheduled for 2015, and preparations for the May flight have already begun. There are many ways that you can be part of North Country Honor Flight and help show our veterans that, as President Truman said, "America will never forget their sacrifices."
We are looking for people to help in a variety of committees, including our Ceremony, Fund Raising, Honor Guard, Marketing, Public Relations, Medical, and Parade committees. Whatever you feel you can do, we'd appreciate and value your commitment of time and energy.
